The Villa and the FAI

Starting from May 12th 2005, thanks to the intervention and the restoring of FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano -, the Villa has been opened to the public interested in enjoying its marvels.

Tivoli: anno di grazia 1826.
Tivoli: the year of grace 1826. A terrible flood made the waters of the Aniene river overflow its banks.
By Pope Gregory XVI's order the course of the Aniene was diverted in order to create an impressive waterfall, after a long wide tunnel.

Opening times and tickets

Opening times:

• 10.00 - 14.30 (from 1° to 31 March)
• 10.00 - 18.30 (from 1° April to 15 October)
• 10.00 - 14.30 (from 16 October to 30 November)
• Last entrance time is half an hour before closing time
• Closing times: Open every day except Mondays (unless a holiday) From December to February the Park is available by appointment only

Tickets:

• Adults: 5,00 €
• Children: (4-12 years): 2,50 €
• Groups of min 12 persons: 4,00 €
• Families (max 4 persons): 12,00 €
• FAI and National Trust members: free entrance
