To reach it take the the Rome-LAquila highway A24 and exit off Vicovaro-Mandela. Turn left onto Via Tiburtina Valeria. After about 300 m turn right over the level crossing towards Sambuci. Immediately after the level crossing there is a fork; to the left follow a steeply twisting mountain road that leads up to Saracinesco.
CO.TRA.Lbuses run frequently from Ponte Mammolo metro station, line B (remember to buy your tickets in advance from the kiosk at Ponte Mammolo, and to validate them when you get on the bus).
From Tiburtina Station in Rome, take the Rome-Pescara line, Mandela station then via CO.TRA.L. bus service.
