Tivoli and surroundings - Discover the lands

The Shrine of Our Lady of Mentorella is located in municipality of Capranica Prenestina, about 1050 meters above sea level, 40 km east of Rome, just below the large rocky mountain called Monte Guadagnolo (the highest peak of the Prenestini Mountains).

By car

• If driving from Rome, take the highway A24 "Rome-L'Aquila-Teramo" and exit at "Tivoli", then continue along the provincial highway SP n° 16 "Via Prenestina" towards Zagarolo. Follow it all the way until to reach Palestrina and then Capranica Prenestina;
• If driving from Rome, take the highway A1 "Rome-Naples" and exit at "San Cesareo". Follow the state highway until to reach Palestrina and then Capranica Prenestina;
• If driving from Naples, take the highway A1 "Rome-Naples" and exit at "Valmontone". Follow the state highway until to reach Palestrina and then Capranica Prenestina.
