How to arrive to Marino

Marino is 13 miles (21km) from Rome, and is easily reachable by public transport or in your own car. It is also very convenient to the Ciampino airport now used by a number of the budget airlines.

By car

  • If driving from Rome, take the ring highway "Grande Raccordo Anulare", exit 23 "Appia", then take the state highway "Via Appia" and follow it all the way to Marino. Couldn't be easier.
How to arrive to Marino

By bus

CO.TRA.L buses run frequently from Anagnina metro station (remember to buy your tickets in advance from the kiosk at Anagnina, and to validate them when you get on the bus).

By train

From Fiumicino Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" to "Roma Termini" central railway station: take the "Leonardo Express" train; From "Roma Termini there is the local train Roma-Albano Laziale, which leaves from Roma Termini Station approximately every hour (railway stations: Marino, Castel Gandolfo, Albano Laziale). They take about 35 minutes.
